A builder shaped by
every part of the build.

Jason started framing production houses in 1997. That's where he learned speed and efficiency, the kind that only comes from putting up homes day after day. He morphed into high-end custom homes where he learned quality and precision, and shortly after that, at 22 years old, he was running multiple crews building neighborhoods by himself.

Towards the end of his carpentry tenure he leaned into high-end custom trim work and cabinetry, which paradoxically made him a better framer. Tight tolerances downstream forced better decisions upstream.

In 2012 he opened his own carpentry contracting business for three years: major remodels, additions, even roofing. After 13 years across all sides of the carpentry world, he stepped into the superintendent role for builders for the next 14 years, learning every other aspect of building houses. Systems, budgeting, scheduling, trade coordination, inspections, close-out.

Seascape Homes is where all of it comes together. One builder, one point of accountability, three decades of every trade on the job site.

Three decades, one through-line: build it right the first time.

  1. 1997

    Started framing production homes

Right out of the gate: production neighborhoods, learning speed and efficiency the way only volume framers can teach it.

  2. 1999

Followed his foreman into custom homes

When the foreman started his own company, Jason went with him. At 22, he was running multiple crews building entire neighborhoods.

  3. 2005

Moved into high-end custom trim & cabinetry

Towards the end of the carpentry tenure, the high-end trim and cabinetry work took over, and made him a better framer for it.

  4. 2012

Started his own carpentry contracting business

Three years running additions, major remodels, even roofing. First time as the owner instead of the lead carpenter.

  5. 2015

    Became a builder's superintendent

Stepped into the superintendent role to learn every part of construction outside the carpentry he already knew cold: systems, schedule, trades, inspections.

  6. Today
